At North American Rail Solutions, we believe that having happy and healthy employees is key to our long-term success. We offer a wide range of competitive benefits to help our employees manage their physical and financial wellness.
NARS US companies provide a comprehensive benefits program with broad coverage, freedom of choice, and tax-saving features. Our program integrates health and wellness, providing tools and programs to help our employees stay healthy and productive. Benefits are offered to all full-time employees who are regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week. Coverage becomes effective on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
Medical and Prescription Drug Coverage
We are dedicated to providing employees with a benefit program that is both comprehensive and competitive. We offer employees two medical plan options that include in-network and out-of-network providers and provide prescription drug coverage.
A substantial portion of monthly premiums is paid for by the company Health Care Account (HCA), funded by American Track, which provides payment for up to half of the employee/family deductible.
Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance
American Track provides a company-paid basic life insurance policy for all benefit-eligible employees. Voluntary life and AD&D insurance may be purchased if additional coverage is needed for employees, spouses, and children.
Disability Insurance
American Track provides company-paid STD and LTD coverage with a buy-up option for employee-paid LTD. These benefits pay for a portion of your income if you have a serious injury or illness that keeps you from working.
401 K
American Track 401(k) Plan is a great way to save for your future. You are eligible to participate in the plan upon hire and are eligible for a company safe harbor match once you complete 12 months (with 1,000 hours) of service.
UR – Health & Dental Coverage
Universal Rail is dedicated to providing employees with a benefit program that is both comprehensive and competitive. Included in our company’s paid Extended Benefits plan is coverage for an extensive list of paramedical practitioners. Our company’s paid Dental Coverage includes basic, major and orthodontic coverage. The Company also offers a Health Care Spending Account/Wellness Spending Account for additional coverage.
Universal Rail provides employee-paid Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Long Term disability coverage. Coverage for AD&D and Life Insurance is offered at 2x your annual salary without a requirement for medical review. Eligible Employees do have the option to add additional coverage to their plan with the completion of a Statement of Health.
TRI – Health & dental Coverage
Tri Innovations is dedicated to providing employees with a benefit program that is both comprehensive and competitive. Included in our company-paid plan is coverage for an extensive list of paramedical practitioners as well as vision care. Our company’s paid Dental Coverage includes basic, preventative and major coverage.
Tri Innovations provides employer-paid Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Critical Illness coverage. Long-term disability coverage is provided as an employee-paid benefit. Coverage for AD&D and Life Insurance are offered at 2x your annual salary without a requirement for medical review. Eligible Employees do have the option to add additional coverage to their plan with the completion of a Statement of Health.
Universal Rail Salary Employee & TRI Innovations Canada – RRSP
All eligible employees are entitled to receive a company-paid $100 biweekly contribution to their RRSP. If an employee wishes to also contribute to the RRSP plan, the Company will match the contribution, up to 2.5% of their salary.
Universal Rail Hourly Employee – RRSP
All eligible employees will receive $2.15 contributed to their RRSP for each working hour. There is no requirement for an employee contribution in order to receive the Company contribution.
